Yes. The world as we know it has indeed ended. So what now? What does this all this mean?
What can we do? Who will we become when this is over? This is a calling for us to come together and remember who we are. We are spiritual beings having a temporary human experience.
So, how can I show up as the best spiritual being possible and get into a vibrational alignment of my own Inner Being ~ BeComing the Best Version of my higher Self.

This is an awakening. Expanding our Consciousness. No one ever has an awakening while things are comfortable. Apparently, we have to get really uncomfortable to allow the light to shine. I don’t know about you, but I am so freaking uncomfortable right now!
It comes in waves. One minute I am good. I know this too shall pass. Then I catch myself going down the rabbit hole of fear, anxiety, anger, etc… How do I get out of the hole? Better yet, stop falling in the same hole over and over?
I have been going live on Facebook everyday for 3 weeks at 4:00 talking about coming to Profound Presence with Conscious Compassion by using the Stop, Drop, & Roll method.
STOP. Notice the emotion that is coming up without judgement.
DROP. Drop the defense mechanism that is reacting.
ROLL. Roll into Profound Presence with Conscious Compassion.
Fear and anxiety are thought forms about something in the potential future. Anger is in the past. Come back to now.
This is where the power is! As we are being thrust into a deeper spiritual journey to look at our own stuff. We are asking: “Why do we do what we do?” I have been using the Enneagram as a tool for transformation for many years now. It empowered me to understand the core motivations and hidden fears. It has helped me really KNOW MYSELF and to do my inner work. And yet, new work keeps popping up like a whack-a-mole game.
Coming into the Now is a practice that is simple but not easy. With greater awareness, mindfulness, journaling, a good coach, mentor, or therapist, it does become more natural even in the midst of chaos. So, the second part of this is where we find the gold.
I sing about letting that little light in and letting it shine. Yes, I want you to shine so bright people can’t help but notice your light beaming.
You cannot have light without darkness. Therefore, we have to look at the dark parts of our personality if we want to become whole.
URGH, this is work! Yes, it is. And, we are being called on the carpet on it. Get ready for the raw truth.
Brene Brown has written about the power of vulnerability to transform our lives. Well, looking at your shadow requires us to become vulnerable in a whole new arena.
“The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real.
This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.”
Carl Jung
So here I am doing this inner work and shining my light in a world of chaos and all the sudden, BAM! Someone totally strikes out at me. I immediately go into defense mode. Yes, as I was working on the stop, drop and roll method – BOOM, sucker-punched!
Drumroll, please… This is where I am going to be totally transparent, raw, and vulnerable.
Me: “I am pissed! Who is this woman? She does not know me. She doesn’t know my husband. (She insulted him in the comment) Who does she think she is? I will show her!”
I went to her social media post to find that her perspective is on the other end of the spectrum from how I see things. I went into judgement.
Here is the medicine: STOP, DROP AND ROLL. URGH!
Stop! ~ Notice the feelings. Why am I so angry? Why was I so triggered? Why do I even care? Here is the shadow work!
“If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself.
What isn’t part of ourselves doesn’t disturb us.”
Hermann Hesse
I would not say I hated her, but I certainly had very strong feelings about her…
It is easy to see that we are all one when we agree on things. It is easy to talk about life when we all agree. But can we talk and connect with others who have a different opinion and not become the judge and jury?
Darpan is an artist who speaks to this so plainly in his song, “Spiral.”
“You are my mother, you are my father
You’re my lover and my best friend
You are the beginning, you’re the center
And you’re far beyond the end.
And I love you so, cause you help me see
To see you in all is to see you in me
Cause I’m in you and you’re in me
I’m in you and you’re in me
I’m in you and you’re in me
I’m in you and you’re in me . . .
You are the colors of the rainbow
You’re the pure white light in me
You’re the mountains, you’re the rivers
You’re the sky, you’re the sea.
And I love you so, cause you help me see
To see you in all is to see you in me
Cause I’m in you and you’re in me
I’m in you and you’re in me
I’m in you and you’re in me
I’m in you and you’re in me”
So, I thank that stranger for bringing my judgy parts into the light.
Stop judging people because of different opinions, skin color, religion, political views.
Drop the ANGER and FEAR because of differences.
Roll into Profound Presence with Conscious Compassion.
