“I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but I knew the kind of woman I wanted to be.”
Diane von Furstenberg
Do you know the kind of person you want to become? After all, this is a becoming journey of life!
So I am constantly trying to become just a little better each day. You know the 1% rule… Improve by 1% daily~

It is human nature to believe that it takes massive action to create massive change. Actually, exactly the opposite is true. Taking tiny steps daily leads to growth that, over time, makes all the difference.
James Clear is an amazing researcher and author of “Atomic Habits,” which is a book I highly recommend. I have been using his anecdotes and graphs for years in my teaching and coaching. Here is an exerpt from one of his articles:
“Improving by 1 percent isn’t particularly notable — sometimes it isn’t even noticeable — but it can be far more meaningful, especially in the long run. The difference a tiny improvement can make over time is astounding. Here’s how the math works out: if you can get 1 percent better each day for one year, you’ll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you’re done. Conversely, if you get 1 percent worse each day for one year, you’ll decline nearly down to zero. What starts as a small win or a minor setback accumulates into something much more. I love how this graph paints the picture of taking one step forward daily makes all the difference. Which leads me to another author I read daily: Richard Rohr, who founded the Center of Contemplation where one of the core principles is “You do not think yourself into a new way of living, you live yourself into a new way of thinking.”

Success is a few simple disciplines, practiced every day;
while failure is simply a few errors in judgment, repeated every day.
Jim Rohn
And with that last quote from the infamous Jim Rohn, I am off to the track this morning to get my booty handed to me per usual.
I choose to show up and run with stronger, faster, better runners while listening to a little Missy Elliot:
I’mma start it from the bottom
I’ll show you how to flip a dollar
I got food in my dining room
I’m better, I’m better, I’m better
It’s another day, another chance
I wake up, I wanna dance
So as long as I got my friends
I’m better, I’m better, I’m better
“I’m Better” (by Missy Elliot)
